Real Estate Lender Newton Branch

Location:  Newton, IA
Type of Employment:  Full-time

TruBank is seeking a full-time Real Estate/Consumer Lender primarily focused on the Newton, IA market. This position is responsible for originating first lien mortgage loans, promoting the bank and its lending services to the Real Estate community, helping to identify and serve the customer’s financial needs through home loan counseling, real estate agent seminars and sales meetings and by participating in and promoting the banks community activities. This position will also develop and manage a loan portfolio that meets established lending requirements. May work with Ag, Commercial, and Consumer loans.

•Develop contacts with realtors, developers, and builders to encourage use of bank services for residential       mortgages. Provide market data, rate flyers, and general loan information to the real estate community as directed.
•Develop customer relationships, provide portfolio maintenance and various customer services as required.
•Ensure completion of each loan application and all pre-processing functions in a timely manner to produce loan   estimates within the required period.
•Manage full service of mortgage loans within Bank policies. 
•Keep up to date with conditions in the local real estate market and changes in rules and regulations pertaining to     both private and government-insured mortgages.
•Sell new loans, on-going maintenance monitoring of loans booked, answer loan related questions or items directly   with customers and support staff in the bank.
•Collection and assistance of past due accounts.
•Maintain collateral documentation, financial statements, and other lending activities. Reports status of loan portfolio   to Board and Loan Committee.
•Serves on Loan Committee.
•Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities, including business, charitable, civic, and   social organizations to maintain a proper responsible citizen stature for the bank.

Requirements for the position include the following:

•High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
•Two or more years of experience in Real Estate/Consumer Lending. Must have valid Driver’s license and clean   driving record.
•Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills.
•Obtain and maintain NMLS.

Location: Permanent Location Indianola Branch

TruBank is seeing a dependable individual to assist serving our current and future customers as our bank grows. Applicant must perform accurate and efficient financial transactions, provide quality customer service and adhere to policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Individual must have excellent verbal communication skills, enjoy working with the public, be able to lift 50 lbs., and work flexible hours Monday through Friday, rotating Saturdays. Cash handling experience is preferred.

Commercial Lender West Des Moines Branch

Location:  West Des Moines, IA
Type of Employment:  Full-time

TruBank is seeking a full-time Commercial Lender primarily focused on developing and maintaining customer relationships by calling on businesses, professional groups, and existing customers, soliciting new deposit and loan business and referrals. Responsibilities are to maintain loan portfolio, building relationships, providing excellent customer service, timely follow-up on renewals and delinquencies. Will contrbute to the team effort by performing other job-related duties as needed.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities

•Responsible for managing and maintaining existing and new loans.
•Be able to develop and solicit a quality loan portfolio in conformity with all Bank policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as all applicable banking laws and regulations.
•Portfolio may consist of Commercial Consumer Loans.
•Applicant must be able to interview loan applicants, collect and analyze financial data to determine credit worthiness. 
•Establish and negotiate terms under which credit can be extended.
•Participate with and make presentations to Loan Committee.
•Support the bank's strong customer relationship culture with customer contact, excellent customer service and product knowledge.
•Will represent the bank and provide leadership in key community activities.

Education and Experience

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
•Eight years of banking experience and/or exposure to commercial lending preferred.

•Good managerial, communication and public relations skills.
